Permanent Professor of the Graduate Program in Architecture, Technology and the City of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism (FEC) at UNICAMP and Coordinator of the Study Group on Urban Planning and Healthy Cities (GPUCS - LABINUR / FEC / UNICAMP).
Orthopedist, Graduated from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) in 1984. Specialist in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1988). Master (1995) and Doctor (2001) in Public Health from the University of São Paulo. Post-Doctorate in Public Health from the State University of Campinas / UNICAMP (2006). Post-doctoral student in Healthy Urban Planning, Collaborating Researcher at the Urban Research Laboratory (LABINUR / FEC / UNICAMP) and Permanent Professor of the Graduate Program in Architecture, Technology and City at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism (FEC) UNICAMP. Lead researcher of the Research Group on Methodologies for Urban Planning and Healthy Cities at FEC / UNICAMP. Coordinator of the Urban Planning and Healthy Cities Study Group (GEPUCS - LABINUR / FEC / UNICAMP). Coordinator of Brazil at the Latin American Regional Office (ORLA) of the International Union for the Promotion of Health and Education (IUHPE), Member of the International Geographical Union Commission on Health and the Environment (IGU CHE) and Member of the DSSA / FIOCRUZ Urban Management and Health Center . She was a Visiting Researcher at the School of Population & Public Health / SPPH (2011-2012) and at the Center for Geography and Spatial Planning Studies linked to the University of Coimbra, Portugal (in the years 2016 - 2019). Member of the Health Promotion and Sustainable Development working group of the Brazilian Association of Public Health. At University Centers UniEduk is Academic Advisor, Chief Editor of Intellectus - Digital Academic Magazine and General Coordinator of the Center for Studies and Research. In his research he works mainly on the theme of Healthy Urban Planning and Health Promotion with a focus on: Methods of urban planning for a healthy city; Formation of Social and Collaborative Networks; Healthy Public Policies.
