The Research Group on Methodology for Urban Planning and Healthy Cities - GPUCS, will aim at reflective production, debates and proposals that generate scientific research projects focusing on the methodological processes applied to Urban planning and establish interdisciplinarity and intersectoriality between the different areas that work in the study of urban space. Its main objectives will be to study and develop methodologies that assist urban planning and to promote studies for the generation of healthy urban spaces, as well as to systematize the convergences between the fields of urbanism and the promotion of a healthy environment. Study and develop tools to support urban planning through Geomatics. Study, analyze and build indicators for the development of Healthy Cities.
